Hey June Handmade: Lane Raglan Hoodie

Hi Folks! 😁

WordPress kindly reminded me that I haven’t posted anything in about 6 months…whoops. I haven’t stopped sewing but I’ve definitely slowed down a bit, especially since moving house in May. Its taken me longer than expected to get back into the flow of things, but what I have made I’ve been super pleased with, so there’s that!

I’m loving my latest make so thought it was about time I dusted off the ol’ blog. I’m talking about my Hey June Handmade, Lane Raglan Hoodie.  Continue reading Hey June Handmade: Lane Raglan Hoodie

Kalle Shirt Dress: The One That Was Worth Hanging In There For…

If you’re reading this you’ve probably come here from Instagram and if that’s the case then you probably already know about my Kalle woes! This was not an easy make for me, and not for the reasons I thought it would be. 2018 Sewing Plans

Oh hai! Its been a while hasn’t it?

I had grand plans for this blog when I started it in October but then work started getting busy in the run up to Christmas, and I just got so caught up in mentally making it through to Christmas that the ol’ blog took a back seat.

I’m not one for resolutions or the dreaded ‘new year, new me’ shite, but in the spirit of going into 2018 with a clearer head I thought I would get involved in #2018makenine over on Instagram and note down some of my sewing plans for next year.

Hudson Pants: what autumn dreams are made of!

I am all about comfort. I keep trying my hand at skirts, dresses and ‘grown up’ things that might be more befitting of a 30 year old’s wardrobe, but I keep coming back to jersey tees, jumpers and joggers. *shrug*. I never have been very good at dressing myself.

Hudson Pants are what my comfy dreams are made of. Combined with a brew, a biscuit (or 7), a blanket and a cat they are perfect for combating the crap weather that’s creeping in.
